Happy Birthday David!

I can't believe that David is one year old already! Time flies. We had a birthday party for him and Jason says its a good thing he won't remember this birthday because he was too spoiled. (Thanks to all the family and friends). We even made him a caterpillar birthday cake. Everyone was impressed with his ability to devour a cupcake. I don't actually think that he ate very much, he's just good at smashing.

Here's his amazing cake...

he isn't sure what to think of it. His food doesn't usually smile back.

Figured it out.

Lick your fingers clean.

What a finish!

We are so proud.

Super Cute! Where are you at in Iowa? I didn't even realize that you were in Iowa for med school? Are you in Ames or Des Moines? If you in Des Moines we should try to get together sometime.

Yeah, your little man is 1. The cake looked great, Emily, (of course I have come to think of you as having perfecting the art of all things that are cooked, baked, sewn, drawn, painted, etc.)Congrats, Jason, by the way, for your white coat. The Dr.'s in.
